An Abuja-based Hajj and Umrah agency, Comerel Travels has emerged the best Hajj tour operator in Nigeria for the 2018 (1439 AH) Hajj exercise.
The company, which started Hajj and Umrah operations a decade ago, was adjudged the best for the fourth consecutive time (2015, 2016, 2017 and now 2018) by the National Hajj Commission (NAHCOM) on Tuesday at the National Mosque Auditorium, Abuja.
The commission also named Al-Hujjaj International Umrah & Hajj Service and Hajj Mabrur Ventures Limited – both in Lagos – as the first and second runner-ups respectively.
The top three awards, according to the organisers, were presented to the winners in recognition of their outstanding performances at the 2018 Hajj operations, barely two months before the commencement of the 2019 exercise.
The Hajj Mabrur team stormed the social media to break the good news with a picture and video showing its MD/CEO, Alhaji AbdulHameed Solate as he received the prestigious award from top officials of NAHCON.
The broadcast message, titled; “An honour of outstanding achievement”, read in part; “Glorious by Allah’s help, we blossom with pride that amongst thousands of agencies, we are one of the most prestigious and recognised, which demonstrates our technical expertise as we exemplify the importance and facilitate the right performance of Hajj and Mabrur in Nigeria.
“This is indeed a signal to keep our heads edging out in the industry and never fall short of our standard of award winning service.”
