As the #EndSARS protest turned violent and continue to attract international attention on social media, renowned Muslim scholar and motivational speaker, Sheikh Ismail Ibn Musa Menk has offered prayer of peace and prosperity for Nigeria.
Mufti Menk, in his social media posts on Friday asked Allah to protect Nigeria, a country with the largest Muslim population in West Africa, from harm and against any individual/group who “intend to create turmoil, discord and unrest.”
The tweet reads thus:
Almighty. Amidst the choas & confusion, we pray for peace & prosperity in Nigeria. Safeguard its citizens & guide its leaders to do what’s right. Protect #Nigeria from harm & those who intend to create turmoil, discord, hate & unrest. Grant it positive growth & success. Aameen
