In the spirit of Ramadan, Turkish President, wife break fast at fellow citizen’s home

In the sprit of Ramadan and an act of exemplary leadership, Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife, Emine Erdogan left the expansive Presidential Palace to break Ramadan fast at the home of a citizen.

The photos were published by the Turkish Presidency on its official page on the social networking site, Twitter, on Wednesday, with the comment: “President Erdogan and the First Lady, Emine Erdogan are guests at the home of a Turkish citizen during breakfast.”

The pictures show Erdogan and his wife sitting with the Turkish citizen, his wife and 3 children in front of a Ramadan fast breaking meal table containing a small number of delicacies.

The official Turkish Anadolu News Agency stated that, “after they had breakfast on the second day of Ramadan, President Erdogan gave smart boards to the three children of the family he had visited in the Mamaq district in Ankara.”
