Tinubu hails MUSWEN’s role in promoting unity

The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for unity among Nigerians in the face of insecurity.

Nigerians, he said, should support the federal government’s efforts at quelling insurgents and banditry.

Represented by the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Idiat Adebule on Wednesday at the MUSWEN’s book launch held in Lagos, Asiwaju Tinubu urged Nigerians to be wary of actions capable of plundering the country into ethno-religious crisis.

Asiwaju Tinubu acknowledged and appreciated the role of MUSWEN in promoting peace and harmonious relationship amongst the Muslim Ummah in Southwest Nigeria.

He further encouraged the umbrella body to continue to use the platform to promote peaceful co-existence and good neighborliness in the face of the insecurity being experienced in the country presently.

While wishing all the Ummah Ramadan Mubarak, he launched the book for undisclosed amount.
