Nigerian Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami has been elevated to the rank of Professor at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
The Minister was promoted to the rank of Professor of Cybersecurity, following successful external assessments of his original contribution to knowledge in the field of Computing.
Zamfara State Governor, Hon. Dr. Bello Muhammad (MON) was among the first to congratulate the Honourable Minister as he extended appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari on Pantami’s feat.
“With over 160 publications, a PhD in Computing and Information Systems, two Master’s Degrees and Bachelors in Computer Science, as well as Certificates from Havard, MIT and Oxford Universities, it’s no coincidence that the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy has recorded a number of unprecedented achievements in two years under his administration,” the Governor said in a statement he personally signed.
