There is clearly no mainstream media establishment that is 100 per cent pro-Islam in Nigeria. However, some Muslim journalists who work with these media organisations did not forget the essence of their faith as Muslims. Therefore, they use any little opportunity they have to promote Islam and its values.
Despite not having says in the editorial policies of their organisations, they are always pushing for informed narratives in their stories, both in print and online, especially when it comes to the issue of Hijab.
