Sheikh Pantami greets Muslims, begins daily Ramadhan tafsir

The Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Sheikh (Prof.) Ali Isa Pantami has felicitated Nigerian Muslims on the arrival of Ramadan 1444 AH.

In a message posted on his verified social media handles, the respected Islamic scholar congratulated the Muslim community on the arrival of Ramadan, praying, “May Almighty Allah (SWT) make us among the major beneficiaries of the month.”

Muslim News gathered that the month of Ramadhan is one the busiest times for the most performing Nigerian minister, as he embarks on daily tafsir (exegesis of the Qur’an) at An-Nuur mosque, Wuse II, Abuja.

According to the details released by the organiser, the Hausa session of the tafsir holds everyday, from 4:50pm to 5:50pm while weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) have been dedicated for the English session.

The session, aired live on his verified Facebook page, began on Thursday with explanation of Surah Al-Imran, Qur’an 3, verse 80, where Allah says, “And he would never ask you to take angels and prophets as lords. Would he ask you to disbelieve after you have submitted?”

“May Almighty Allah make us among the beneficiaries of the Qur’an and the prestigious month of Ramadhan”, Sheikh Pantami added.
