Bountiies Charity Initiative concludes mini exportation workshop for women

– Urges Nigerians to build trust in international market

In response to the ongoing devaluation of the Naira and the imperative for women to increase personal income in foreign currency, Bounties Charity Initiative widely known as Bountiis, has taken a significant stride with its recently concluded Mini Exportation Workshop held on November 12, 2023, at The Nigerian Institute of Production Management (NIPM) in Ikeja, Lagos.

The empowering event brought together a diverse group of women eager to make their mark in the global exportation sector.

The event is built on the resounding success stories from the maiden edition of the exportation workshop held in 2019. Since then, Bountiis has consistently empowered numerous women, especially widows, through export collaborations with foreign partners. This strategic collaboration has provided economic opportunities and catalyzed the creation of one of Canada’s largest Nigerian food and grocery tech hubs.

Muslim News gathered that the transformative impact of the previous workshops serves as a testament to the enduring commitment of Bountiis in fostering entrepreneurship and uplifting women’s lives through impactful initiatives.

An international trade consultant, the Chief Executive Officer of 56pivot Group Inc, Canada, and De-promising Innovation Consulting Limited, Nigeria, Matti Abdul Fatai, emphasized on the need for Nigerians to build trust in the international market and reduce corrupt practices in all aspects of business transactions.

He also appealed to the government to strengthen the exportation process at seaports to ease cross-border business transactions.

Hajia Ramat Salih, the producer of MSM Cosmetics, added her voice to the empowering dialogue by advising participants to embrace creativity and business intelligence in their production process.

She stressed the importance of infusing innovation into product development to facilitate speedy market acceptance.

Drawing from her extensive experience in the cosmetics industry, Hajia Ramat Salih highlighted the role of unique and innovative products in capturing consumer interest and establishing a lasting presence in the market.

The workshop focused on providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the step-by-step process involved in production, branding, packaging, and the essential requirements for exporting goods.

It served as a platform for participants to broaden their knowledge and expertise in the business and trading world.

Featuring insights from three renowned speakers, the event delved into the intricacies of the exportation process. Attendees received practical knowledge and strategies to navigate the international market successfully.

The speakers, well-versed in the global trade landscape, shared their expertise and experiences to guide participants towards success in the export industry.

The workshop underscored the critical aspects of production, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with international trade regulations.

Participants gained valuable insights into effective branding and packaging techniques, essential for positioning products in foreign markets.

Beyond theoretical discussions, the workshop shed light on the practical requirements and documentation needed for successful exportation.

Participants received a detailed overview of the legal and logistical elements involved, empowering them with the tools necessary to initiate and expand their businesses internationally.

Bounties Charity Initiative recognizes the crucial role women can play in strengthening the Naira and boosting the national economy through active participation in the global export market.

The acquisition of foreign currency through entrepreneurship not only serves as a hedge against currency devaluation but also plays a vital role in fostering economic resilience.

Events like the mini exportation workshop aim to equip women entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge needed to actively contribute to the nation’s economic stability.

Bountiis is a distinguished non-profit organization supporting Muslim women through life’s myriad challenges. Striving to be a platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing, Bountiis achieves its mission through education, training, awareness and enlightenment programs.
