The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), under the leadership of Professor Abdullahi Usman has pledged to continue to strengthen its relationship with tour operators to ensure smooth hajj operations.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the Commission gave the assurance on Tuesday while inaugurating the new office of the Association for Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON) in Lagos.

Prof Abdullahi Usman, arrived Lagos on Tuesday in continuation of his nationwide tour to engage governors, religious scholars, and traditional rulers and garner support and blessings for next year’s hajj.
He promised to address challenges facing the Association, particularly issuance of umrah visas.

The Commissioner of Operations, NAHCON, Prince Anofiu Elegushi said the Commission has completed the screening of tour operators who applied for 2025 hajj license.
Alhaji Abdulfatai AbdulMajeed, the Chairman Board of Trustees representing the Association appreciated NAHCON for supporting them and promised to work together.
