LCCI, Alausa, Ikeja on Saturday, 18th January welcomed professionals from different areas as Qodar Safety Consults held the third edition of the Setting The Pace professional conference.

With the theme, ‘The Time is Now,’ the conference, which also offered opportunity for virtual participation, attracted no less than 300 physical attendees and 200 virtual participants.

The Managing Director of a leading workplace safety consult in Lagos, Mr. Waliu Adegoke, said the conference was designed to foster knowledge exchange, professional development, and collaboration among young and outstanding professionals, industry leaders, business owners, regulatory enforcers and other stakeholders.

The event brought together experts, practitioners, thought leaders in the field of ESG and Sustainability to address critical issues and explore innovative solutions in the fields of Engineering, Administration, Construction, Manufacturing, Public Service, and Quality Health Safety Security and Environmental (QHSSE) Management.

The conference was headlined by panel discussions, speakers’ series, and awards/gifts presentations.

Among the personalities invited to speak at the conference were Mr. Dapo Omolande, CEO, Hybrid HSE and Founder, DOME Initiative; Engr. Sulaiman Abubakar, Chairman House Committee on Northwest Development Commission; Dr. Mohammed Basheer, ISO Management Expert; Dr. Monica Nwosu, Principal Consultant at Fresh Fountain Consulting Limited; Mr. Tayo Opatayo, CEO, Caperhill; and Engr. Jamiu Badmos, Founder of QHSES Leadership Academy.

The experts stressed the importance of identifying and equipping oneself with necessary skills and resources to create excellence and foster professional growth.

They said transformative professional approaches are urgently required in the contemporary professional environment to inspire success and prosperity.

The speakers, industry leaders, sponsors were awarded by Qodar Consult at the conference.
