A young Muslim student from Kwara State, Hamdalat Eniola Agboola, has emerged winner of the recently held National Tax Debate in Abuja.
The hijab-wearing Hamdalat recorded 85% to beat contestants from other states in the debate.
Muslim News gathered that the young scholar attends Queen Elizabeth School Ilorin.
With her new feat, she has emerged national ambassador of Women in Taxation (SWIT) for 2025.
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has since congratulated the young Muslimah Hamdalat, and another Kwara pupil, Muminaat Ayomide Abdulganiyu (also a Muslim) who emerged fourth in the competition with 78%.
Muminaat is of the Government Girls Secondary School, Oke Sunna, Ilorin.
Governor AbdulRazaq said the impressive performances of the two students on the national stage have built on the reputation of Kwara State as a nest of great talents and achievers across sectors.
“He also congratulates the parents of the students, their schools, and the state chapter of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) for their immense contributions to this success,” a statement by Rafiu Ajakaye, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, read.
“He wishes champion Hamdalat and the irrepressible Muminaat brighter years of academic and professional excellence ahead.”
