The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has secured additional spaces in Tent A Camp for the upcoming Hajj 2025.
At least 2,800 new VIP bed spaces have now been sealed through Rawaf Mina, Saudi-based service provider, with which the Commission signed an agreement for the provision of VIP services.
NAHCON Chairman, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, has therefore advised tour operators who have earlier indicated interest in the Tent A accommodation through Rawaf Mina to upgrade their payments accordingly.
This is contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by Assistant Director, Information and Publication, NAHCON, Fatima Sanda Usara.
Usara said the NAHCON leadership had a Zoom meeting with authorities of Rawaf Mina last night, where the new deal was sealed.
“The company revealed that it has secured 2,800 VIP bed spaces in the newly constructed building located just few meters from the Jamrat. The five-storey facility comprises 23 rooms on the first floor and 30 rooms each on the second, third, and fourth floors,” the statement read.
Muslim News gathered that some tour operators were also in attendance at the meeting, and they were briefed on the modalities of the upgrade.
“The Rawaf Mina Chairman urged the tour operators to conclude their Hajj registration procedures early because the Rawaf Mina Company plans to produce the NUSUK access cards for its pilgrims once all processes are completed,” Usara said.
NAHCON directed tour operators whose intending pilgrims enlisted for Tent A but were initially registered under Tent D due to administrative purposes to now pay the balance in order to confirm their allocation and ensure the re-routing of their transportation vehicles to the appropriate camp in Muna.
