Newly inaugurated team headed by Maruf Adekomaiya (m) as the Amir

The Nigerian Canadian Muslim Congregation Calgary (NCMCC) has officially inaugurated a new leadership team to steer the affairs of the organisation for the next two years.

The announcement was made during the organisation’s Annual General Meeting, held at the Nigerian House. The Head of the Shura Committee (Advisory Council) formally introduced the newly appointed leaders.

Maruf Adekomaiya was named the new Amir (President), alongside a dedicated team of individuals who will serve in various capacities to support the organisation’s mission and community engagement.

* Amirah (Women’s Leader): Sis. Hafsat Adebayo
* Naibat Amirah (Asst. Women’s Leader): Sis. Maisat Amodu

* Asst. Secretary (Male): Bro. Lukman Abisoye Shonubi
* Asst. Secretary (Female): Sis. Sofiyyah Alimi
* Financial Secretary: Sis. Shakira Lamidi
* Treasurer: Bro. AbdRafii Abiodun Martins
