TMC flags off mobilisation for annual camping programme

* Says 2025 NITP will be bigger, better

Prominent faith-based organisation, The Muslim Congress (TMC), has announced that its 2025 National Islamic Training Programme (NITP) will hold between Wednesday, 24th December and Sunday, 28th December, 2025.

NITP, a flagship programme of the national headquarters of TMC, is an annual camping event that draws adult males from all walks of life and across the different regions in Nigeria.

Speaking at the event to officially kickstart mobilisation for the 2025 NITP, Mallam Saheed Gbadebo, Chairman Organising Committee, said this year’s camp promises to be bigger, better, and more valuable.

He further disclosed that the programme will hold simultaneously across four zones in the country, including Ogun, Oyo and Edo States, and FCT Abuja.

The Organising Committee Chairman said TMC’s NITP has consistently provided delegates with life-transforming opportunities to learn, network and grow over the years.

“From past editions, many people have discovered new insights that further illuminated their practice of the Deen, built lasting relationships that changed their personal lives for the better, and also unlocked fresh possibilities that changed their professional lives from good to great,” he noted.

“The 2025 NITP will not only uphold that legacy, but it has also been carefully designed to be more educating, more entertaining, and even more fulfilling. It will feature engaging learning sessions, practical spiritual and thought-provoking professional experiences, and exciting moments that will leave every delegate enriched, inspired and fulfilled.”

Mal. Gbadebo urged members of TMC to lead the awareness campaign for the 2025 NITP, noting the responsibility for the success of the annual camping event does not lie with the Organizing Committee alone.

It is a shared responsibility, he noted, while asking everyone to serve as ambassadors of the 2025 NITP mobilising support for it in their various circles.

“As members and potential delegates, your role goes beyond just attending the programme. You are ambassadors of the 2025 NITP and I need you to publicize it actively, telling your friends, colleagues, and networks about the opportunities that the 2025 NITP offer. You should use your voice on social media, your voice within your organizations, and your voice in your communities to spread the word that the 2025 NITP is coming and that no one should miss it for anything.”

Mal. Gbadebo also called for early bird registration, saying it offers members the chance to secure their place for the 2025 NITP at the lowest possible fee.

“For emphasis, I am counting on you to pay promptly since every payment you make on time helps us plan better and deliver more efficiently.”

The Organising Committee Chairman extended invitations for sponsorship and exhibition, explaining that the expenses for hosting a qualitative programme are huge. “That’s why we need funds from individuals and entrepreneurs both small and big. It’s funds like these that will help in bridging the financial gap in delivering the much-desired memorable moments at the 2025 NITP,” he stated.

Mal. Gbadebo thanked individuals and organisations that have supported the annual programme for the past years. He highlighted specifically the Hajj Mabrur Ventures Limited (HMVL), Zenith Precision Limited, Al-Barakah Microfinance Bank (AMFB), Halaal Certification Authority (HCA), YKM Products Limited, and Human Concern Foundation International (HCFI).

Others are Trustlub Fluid Resources Limited, Zakat & Sadaqat Foundation, Perfect Paints Limited, Salcom Technology Limited and so many others.

He prayed Almighty Allah to enrich the sponsors and supporters greatly, while wishing for a successful event.
