The upcoming special edition of Fiqh Forum, scheduled for Sunday, November 9, 2025, will focus on the theme: “عامان كاملان على معركة طوفان الاقصى: إنجازات وتحديات” meaning “Complete Two Years of the Aqsa Flood: Achievements and Challenges”.
According to the organisers, the monthly intellectual gathering, held at Dawah Centre, 1, TMC Street, Opposite Stallion House, Ijesha, Oshodi Apapa Expressway, Lagos, aims to provide deep insights into topical and contemporary issues affecting the Muslim Ummah from the lens of Islamic jurisprudence.
This month’s edition will explore the ongoing resistance struggle in Gaza — two years after the launch of Operation Aqsa Flood by the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas.
The forum will assess the impact of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, as well as the successes, challenges, and resilience of the Palestinian people.
The session, which begins at 10:00 a.m., will be led by the esteemed Grand Mufti of the Conference of Islamic Organisations (CIO), Sheikh Dhikrullahi Shafi’i, alongside other scholars.
Muslim News gathered that similar sessions will take place concurrently in several other states, including Abuja, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, and Kwara.
The organisers invited all Muslims, scholars, and students of knowledge to participate in the timely discourse.
The session will also be streamed live on the Fiqh Forum Facebook page, allowing viewers from across the world to join virtually and benefit from the discussions.
