The third edition of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum (UZF) is set to commence on Monday, March 30, 2026, in Madinah, bringing together global stakeholders in the pilgrimage sector under one roof.
Organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program, the three-day event will hold under the patronage of Prince Salman bin Sultan, Governor of Madinah Province, at the King Salman International Convention Center, Madinah.
Muslim News gathered that the forum is expected to attract more than 40,000 visitors from across the world, alongside 150 exhibitors and 160 speakers.
Organizers have also lined up over 50 workshops, with approximately 5,000 agreements projected to be signed during the event, underscoring its significance as a major hub for business, innovation, and collaboration within the Umrah and Ziyarah ecosystem.
Speaking ahead of the event, the Saudi Arabian Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, described the forum as a landmark global gathering.
“We are witnessing the launch of the largest global event that brings together Umrah and Ziyarah companies and service providers for the Guests of Allah, including Umrah performers and visitors,” he said.
Al-Rabiah emphasized the Kingdom’s ambition to make the forum a comprehensive platform for exploring opportunities and improving services within the sector.
“We will strive to make this forum a comprehensive platform for exploring opportunities and enhancing the experience. We promise that this global event will become an annual gathering of the largest Umrah and Ziyarah service providers from around the world,” he added.
Beyond its commercial and institutional significance, the forum reinforces Madinah’s unique position as a spiritual destination, hosting millions of pilgrims who visit the Prophet’s Mosque and other historic Islamic sites each year.
