#TurkeyisBurning: Muslim News Nigeria prays for Turkey 

‘O Fire! be thou cool, and (a means of) safety for our brethren in Turkey’

As at the time of filing this report on Friday, Muslim News Nigeria findings revealed that 43 of the 63 fires outbreaks in 21 southwestern province of Mugla and central provinces of Kirikkale and Kayseri in Turkey on July 28-29 have been brought under control, while 20 are still ongoing.

So far, 4 people have lost their lives in the fire, 3 people in Manavgat and 1 person in Marmaris. Thousands of animals perished, forest, farmland and greenhouses in the region burned to ashes. A total of 2,300 buildings were affected by the fire.

Sources at the Russian Embassy in Turkey report that 3 Russian Be-200 firefighting planes were working on the raging fires in the Manavgat district of Antalya.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has directed the Environment and Urbanization Ministry to mobilize all the state facilities to put an end to the fire and heal the wounds of people affected by the fire. 🇹🇷
