President Bola Ahmed Tinubu observed the Jumu’ah prayer on Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Lekki Central Mosque, Lagos, during his end-of-year visit to the state.

The khutbah (sermon) and congregational prayer were led by Sheikh (Dr.) Munirudeen Salaudeen Ar-Riyadhy, who represented the Chief Imam of Lekki Central Mosque, Dr. Ridwan Jamiu, at the special Juma’ah.

President Tinubu was warmly received by the President of Lekki Muslim Ummah (LEMU), Dr. Abdulganiy Labinjo, alongside members of the Board of Trustees.

He was accompanied by top government officials, including the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat; National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu; and Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

The visit highlights the president’s continued connection with the Muslim community and the significance of Friday prayer in national and spiritual life. – Muslim News Nigeria #LEMU
