Introduction
It is evident that the Firdaus Amasa Hijab/Law School victory did not get mainstream media prominence. Her Call to Bar with the Hijab story was no doubt muted by the Nigerian media. Based on our understanding of the popular axiom that says; “Nobody can tell your story like you”, Rawshield PR Media has decided to celebrate our Hijab heroine with the maiden and special edition of Muslim News; of July and August, 2018.
Why You Need To Be Part of It
- To bring your products and services to the consciousness of the people, especially your Muslim audience
- To rejoice and celebrate with Firdaus Amasa as a worthy leader in the struggle towards liberating Muslims from the shackles of oppression and injustice
- We believe it is an avenue to collaborate over good deeds, as Allah says: “Help you one another in virtues, righteousness and piety…” (Qur’an 5:2)

Content Sourcing
Rawshield PR Media followed the Firdaus case from the day it broke. Since then, we have been doing in-depth analyses of the main events and related happenings as they unfolded, which we regularly published and updated on our social media handles. As we speak, the contents for the newspaper and magazine versions are 90% ready.
Our Audience
Hijab heroine, Firdaus Amasa’s Call to Bar denial story garnered substantial Nigerian and international media attention. Many people, Muslims and Christians alike, followed the news about Firdaus with keen interest. As such, we believe there is the need for an alternative narrative from the Muslim perspective. Our primary audience for this are Nigerian Muslims and Muslim organisations. The secondary audience will be the general public, especially the lovers of justice, irrespective of their religious affiliations.
Circulation
Rawshield PR Media has what it takes to circulate the newspaper and magazine across major Muslim organisations in Nigeria through modern day delivery channels (including dispatch riders). In addition, we have partnered with some online marketing channels to ease the distribution process. It will also interest you that the CEO of Rawshield PR Media worked as a newspaper agent in Lagos for 4 years. This invaluable experience, we believe, would further boost the circulation process.
Date of Publication
For the newspaper version, we intent to start production today, Monday (July 16), so as to be able to break into one of the biggest markets for our newspaper, the MSSNLagos Holiday Training Course (HTC), which holds between Thursday (July 19) to Monday (July 23) across all the 5 Zones (43 local governments) of Lagos State. There are other big programmes – which we have already set our sights on – where we plan to sell the newspapers and magazines.
Your constructive criticism/observations towards a successful production would be highly appreciated.
Online Version
We already secured the domain name for Muslim News (muslimnews.com.ng) and work will soon begin on developing the website, with the upload of contents of the magazine/newspaper, in order to reach a wider cyber audience across the globe. Financing the website is one of our major challenges. We believe, with your help, we will deliver, biqudratiLlah.
Muslim News is a mouthpiece for underreported Muslim achievers and events in Nigeria and across the world, which are never given prominence in the mainstream media. It is high time Muslims stopped being reactionary. If we don’t blow our trumpet, no one will blow it for us.
