Muslim students and pupils of Kith and Kin Educational Schools joined millions of Muslims and non-Muslims across the world to celebrate today’s World Hijab Day.
The school Uztas, Mr Ali Rauf, leveraged the opportunity to further sensitise the students to the spiritual importance of hijab in Islam.
While addressing the students, he stressed that hijab is a kind of sartorial modesty ordained by Almighty Allah.
He therefore implored the female students to always make sure they cover their body.
The programme which was held after today’s Jumat service in the school mosque was attended by students, pupils, Muslim teachers and a parent.
