Meet the 6-year-old youngest participant in the history of the National Qur’an Competition

AbduLlahi Sa’id Okanlolohun, 6, is the youngest participant at the ongoing National Qur’an competition.

A social media user, Robiu Sulaimon Olalekan posted on his Facebook account on Thursday, stating that, “Sa’id, from Igbeti, Oyo state has memorized the whole Qur’an. He is representing his state in category 3 (40 hizb/20 juz’u).”

Some social media users however said the young memoriser of the Qur’an is 8-year-old.

The Cordinator of the Oyo State team at the competition, Alhaji AbdulGaniyy AbdusSalaam later confirmed to Muslim News that Sa’id is 6-year-old.

Will he make it to the grand finale this Saturday?

Only time will tell….
