Many Nigerian netizens have thronged various social media platforms in the quest for justice for Barakat Bello and other victims of rape, saying that rapists do not consider decent or indecent dressing before feasting on their victims.
The 18-year-old Barakat, an Hijabi Muslimah, was gang raped by yet to be identified assailants before she was murdered at her Akinyele home in Ibadan earlier this week.
Muslim News monitored the many reactions expressed on Twitter, Facebook and other platforms that trailed the recent incidents of rape, with some culminating in murder.

If we’re talking about decent Islamic dressing, it must cover the entire body of a lady, not scarf or iborun or whatever.
It must be shabby, not attractive at all.
Don’t tell me what barakaat wore is full khimar or jelbab bcuz you must have reason for calling it decent Islamic dressing.we can only get Free from all This rapists or any other evil act if we can urge our sisters in ISLAM to dress according Allah wishes and to the Sunnah of prophet Muhammad s.a.w
Justice have to be done on issues like these onces and human right association of Nigeria must take this in to consideration, she dressed decently but rapped and finally killed . Mr president we put our eyes on u to see ur immediate response to the matter if not, we can conclude by saying no justice in democracy
