Many Nigerian netizens have thronged various social media platforms in the quest for justice for Barakat Bello and other victims of rape, saying that rapists do not consider decent or indecent dressing before feasting on their victims.
The 18-year-old Barakat, an Hijabi Muslimah, was gang raped by yet to be identified assailants before she was murdered at her Akinyele home in Ibadan earlier this week.
Muslim News monitored the many reactions expressed on Twitter, Facebook and other platforms that trailed the recent incidents of rape, with some culminating in murder.

A Hijabite, Barakat was reportedly raped & murdered close to her Dad’s house at Akinyele Local Government Area in Ibadan (2/6/20). Rapists don’t care about your age, dress code or consent, they are evil & should be made to face the wrath of law!#JusticeForBarakat#SayNoToRapist pic.twitter.com/OYqBn1uOCa
