MSSN Lagos to reward outstanding students as CBT mock exams end tomorrow

Lagos State Area Unit of the foremost student body, Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), has commenced a series of computer-based test (CBT) mock examinations for secondary school pupils.

The examination started on Monday, 6th July, briefly before the Federal Government announced dates for 2020 WASSCE.

Muslim News learnt that the mock exam will end on Thursday, 9th July, after which a prize giving ceremony for outstanding students is to take place on Friday, 10th July.

In a statement, the Amir, MSSN Lagos, Dr. Saheed Ashafa said the mock examination was specifically designed for secondary school students (JSS and SSS) to prepare them ahead of their examinations.

He noted that MSSNLagos had academically engaged the pupils since schools were shut in the country and the examination would also enable the organisers to assess the pupils on what they have been taught in the online classes.

He expressed the optimism that the mock examination would further “boost the pupils preparation for the forthcoming national and West African examinations respectively.”

According to him, “the mock examinations will hold on the Edmodo platform. To partake, you can sign up an account on Edmodo (in Play Store or visit edmodo.com) and join with any of the following codes if you haven’t: JSS class: g5g7mt, Science class: xth9bg, Business class: jb63b5 and Humanity class: b5jgnd.

“To adequately revise and prepare yourself well for the examination, we have got “Success Box app” for you from Chronicles Software Development. You visit the link below to access it. It is free. (http://successbox.net/learningcontinues?gr=YWxpQGNocm9uaWNsZXNvZnQuY29t)

He noted that the calendar for the remaining activities of MSSNLAGOS Free Online Tutorials will run through Week 12 (June 22 – 26) covering lectures and Week 13 (June 29 – July 3), the last week of lectures.

He urged participants to follow these steps to download the application:

i. Click on the link and make registration accordingly.

ii. Take note of and copy the “Activation code” on the successful registration page.

iii. Click on the download link on the page to download the app.

iv. Open and register it. Then upgrade with the “activation code” you copied earlier to allow you have access to questions.

Ashafa however, said that the MSSN Lagos learning platforms (Edmodo and WhatsApp) will still be left opened even after the examination to address any challenge pupils may have in their studies.

He asked students to access videos of MSSNLAGOS online tutorials through this link: https://sng.ng/MSSNLAGOS_tutorials
