Not too long ago, Turkish historical and adventure series Diriliş: Ertuğrul took Pakistan by storm, specifically because of its originality and storyline.
The show is about the 13th century Turkish warrior Ertugrul Ghazi, one of the most famous ones of his time and also the father of Osman (the founder of the Ottoman Empire).
As the holy crusades swept through the Middle East, nomad Turkish tribes fought their way into the new Promised Land.
Ertugrul Ghazi, the son of Suleiman Shah, after the death of his father had to take charge of the situation in his tribe.
From crusaders to Byzantine, Ertugrul, together with his companions, such as Turgut, Dogan and Bamsi, among others, strived.
The TV show further extended to Kuruluş: Osman, where the history of Osman Bey, the son of Ertugrul Ghazi, is highlighted.
Be it Twitter or Instagram, fans from around the world have gone bonkers over the demise of their most beloved character Ertugrul Ghazi in this week episode 12, season 2 of the historical drama, Kuruluş: Osman.
