House of Representatives member, Hon. Abdul Majeed Adesegun Adekoya has completed the building of a mosque which he started from the scratch for the Labe community in Ago-Iwoye, Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Adekoya, representing Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, made the announcement on Tuesday, through his Facebook page.
Muslim News findings revealed that the mosque will be commissioned on Thursday, August 26, 2021.
Adekoya posted the pictures of the dilapidated old marked area used as a mosque and its new look, with the caption:
“God used me to bring to life again, the already dead mosque in Labe Village in Ago-Iwoye. The mosque will Insha-Allah be commissioned on Thursday 26th August, 2021.”
Many Muslims on social media have continued to shower prayers on the Honourable, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, praying Allah to accept it from him as an act of ‘Ibadah (worship).
Adeotan Tajudeen Abu Mardiyyah said, “This is lovely, may Allaah reward you exceedingly. I love you, may Allaah love (you) better than I do.
Taofiq Kehinde Olayoonu also prayed for him saying, “May Allah accept it from you and may its rewards be added to your scale of good deeds.”
According to Hon-Shotunde Shuaibu Lanre, “With this singular act, may Allah forgive all your shortcomings… May you attain your destination. God bless you, sir.”
For Habiodun Costa, “No one will do this without adequate reward from Allaah….. May Allah’s mercy be onto (sic) you always…. I am indeed happy for this.”
Muslim News can authoritatively confirm from an authentic Hadith (saying of Prophet Muhammad [SAW]) that whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, then Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.
