One of Nigeria’s respected Islamic scholar, Prof. Abdurrazaq Alaro is scheduled to speak at the 2nd International Halal Training Seminar.
Prof. Alaro, Head of Islamic Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Kwara State will be dissecting the theme, “emerging halal market: tool for economic growth” during his keynote address.
The event slated for Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies Auditorium, University of Lagos is organised by Halal Certification Authority (HCA).
Muslim News findings revealed that renowned Nigerian and international scholars will be handling the technical sessions at the seminar expected to start by 9am (Nigerian Time).
While Malaysian scholar, Dr. Betania Kartika Muflih is billed to speak on Overview of Halal Industry in Africa, her counterpart from Nigeria, Dr. Tajudeen Yusuf will look at Halal Finance: Opportunities for Nigerian Economic Growth.
We can reliably confirm that the Director, Regulations and Compliance of the HCA, Nigeria, Alhaji AbdulAzeez Ajala will be doing justice to the topic: Halal Certification: Prospects for AfCFTA implementation.
The aim of this seminar, according to the organisers is to strategically position attendees for the growing multibillion-dollar halal industry market and to enhance healthy living while expanding the products and services of industries.
Expected to attend the event are government agencies, captains of industries, manufacturing and service industries, academia, halal professionals, managers, students and all other stakeholders.
