Abiola Abdullah, an SSS 3 student of Vanguards Academy has emerged overall winner of the 2022 ICAN Secondary School Quiz Competition.
Abdullah came 1st in the final stage of the competition, defeating participants from 25 secondary schools from Ijebu District, Ogun State.
The video of the young scholar surfaced online, brilliantly answering series of questions with confidence.
At the event held on Friday, 28th January, 2022 at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Abdullah also emerged as the best in Financial Accounting, Commerce and Economics.
The young accountant also won a scholarship award to complete his ATS.
The Islamic school located at Odonsengolu, Ijebu Ode has won different categories of prizes at the previous editions of the competition.
The Chairman, Management Board and CEO of the faith-based school, Dr. Zafaran Adeniyi hailed Abdullah’s heroic feat, says it’s good for the school.
