Muslims from different fields of study will tomorrow, Friday, October 28, converge at Digital Bridge Institute, Oshodi, Lagos for the three-day educating and networking camping programme organised by The Professional, an organ of Al-Mu’minaat (The Believing Women) Organisation. The portal for a registration fee of N20,000 is open for prospective participants of this laudable programme.
Registration is ongoing for the first female-only professional camping programme, an initiative of The Professional, an organ of Al-Mu’minaat, one of the leading female bodies in Nigeria.
Al-Mu’minaat (The Believing Women) Organization, is a Non-profit female muslim organisation with the mission to empower Muslim women and build a strong Muslim community through education and welfare projects for self actualisation and sustainable national.
Muslim News gathered that the camp, which commences on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Digital Bridge Institute, Oshodi, Lagos, is meant for professionals in all fields, including engineering, law, media, architectural, banking, teachers, both in public, the private sector, among others.
Themed ‘The Mirror’, the camp which is expected to feature personal development, spiritual diets, medical outreach, interactive and counselling sessions, health and career talks, will parade array of Muslim scholars in various fields of endeavour.
According to the timetable released by the organiser, Sheikh Dhikrullah Shafii and Ustadh Sherifdeen Ibrahim are scheduled to declare the camp open on Friday with a special tafsir session, titled: ‘Muslim Women: A mirror to the world’.
Hajia Bushrah Alli, Hajia Shakirah Abdurraheem, Hajia Basirah Rabiu, Dr Zafaran Adeniyi, Dr. Hafsah Adesina, Alhaja Mujeerah Adekomaya, Engr. Saheed Balogun, Hajia Sherifah Ajibade-Yusuf, Alhaji Abdul Hameed Solate and Dr Sofiya Miftau, among other seasoned speakers and facilitators will also grace the camp.
Interested participants of the professional camp which will also address marital disputes and political discussion can register HERE with N20,000 only – the fee caters for accomodation, feeding, among other logistics for the event ending on Sunday, October 30.
“There is also a session for our kids. It promises to be entertaining with series of educating children contents (poems, songs, film shows, skills, etc). The session will be manned by Hajia Sekinah Suraka and Hajia Kabirat Ajani with the registration fee of N3000”, said Hajia Jelilat Abdul Hamid, the Chairperson, National Professional Planning Committee.
