Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, who recently embraced Islam and changed her name to Meenah, is currently in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with her husband, Alhaji Kazim Adeoti, the owner of Adekaz Productions, to perform #Hajj2023.
The delectable actor posted a picture of herself with her hubby few days ago at the airport, with a caption, Hajj 2023…ALHAMDULILLAH 🙏”, an indication that she’s performing the Islamic last pillar with her husband.
Muslim News Nigeria correspondent in Madinah sighted the actor with her husband in Masjid An-Nabawi, Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) mosque on Friday with some of her colleagues including Kemi Afolabi, Oluwakemi Adetoro, where they observed Solatul Juma’ah.
She later went to social media to share the memorable moment with millions of her followers, including the pictures of her at Masjid Quba (the first mosque in Islam’s history) during their ziyyara (visitation) to historic places, one of the activities embarked upon by pilgrims during hajj or umrah (lesser pilgrims).
The news has excited many fans as they expressed happiness for Mercy Aigbe, who got married to the Alhaji Adeoti, popular Nollywood movie marketer, as a second wife, in 2022. Olusey Bakre; “Wow. Congratulations! Hajj is a dream. Every Muslim pray they experience it. Oh Allah, I pray I experience Hajj very soon, in shaa Allah.”
