A faith-based organisation headquartered in Lagos State, Al-Mu’minaat (The Believing Women) Organisation has sent best wishes to Nigerian Muslims performing the 2023 Hajj in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a statement on Wednesday by the Amirah of the organisation, Alhaja Ni’matullah Abdul-Quadir, Al-Mu’minaat also congratulated the Nigerian Muslim community celebrating the Eid-el-Adha at home.
“On behalf of Al-Mu’minaat, I wish to extend warm felicitations to our Muslim brothers and sisters, especially of Nigerian nationality, who are currently performing hajj rites in Saudi Arabia. I pray that Allah (SWT) will accept their pilgrimage and count it as hajj mabrur.
“In the same vein, I congratulate Nigerians at home on the dawn of Eid-el-Adha. This is indeed a special occasion. Let’s imbibe all the lessons of the season including sacrifice, endurance, tolerance, among others. I wish everyone a joyous celebration.”
Alhaja Ni’matullah Abdul-Quadir urged Nigerian pilgrims to offer supplications for peace, unity and development to reign in the country.
“They should use the opportunity of their stay at the holy land to commit the affairs of Nigeria to Allah. It is to the benefit of everyone if we get it right in the country.
“While wishing them successful completion of their hajj rites, I charge our pilgrims to let the impact of this important pillar of Islam reflect in their lives going forward. I wish all of them a safe return back to Nigeria.
“Happy Eid-el-Adha to the Muslim community,” the Amirah added.
