The former Governor of Osun State and immediate ex-Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and his wife, Alhaja Sherifat Aregbesola on Sunday, February 18, joined families and friends at a grand reception of Alhaji Zikrullah Olakunle Hassan, the immediate past Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON.
The reception, held at De Rembrandt Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos was also attended by the current serving Senator, Shuaib Afolabi Salis; the president of MUSWEN and and Deputy President (South), NSCIA, Alhaji Rasaki Oladejo, among other leading light of Islamic propagation in Nigeria.
The iconic event was put together by The Companion, an association of Muslim men in business and the professions, for one of her illustrious members, who headed the Hajj commission between December 2019 and October 2023.
