The Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria (ADS) has joined millions of Nigerians to celebrate the country’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
In a statement to commemorate the occasion, ADS President, Dr. Abdulrafiu Ademola Sanni congratulated the government and the good people of Nigeria on this significant milestone.
He said, As we reflect on our nation’s journey, we acknowledge the progress made and challenges overcome. We also recognize the ongoing efforts to build a united, prosperous, and peaceful Nigeria.
Dr. Sanni stated: “As Muslims, we believe in the importance of unity, justice, and compassion. We urge Nigerians to uphold these values, promote tolerance and understanding among all ethnic and religious groups.”
The foremost Muslim organization in Nigeria calls on Nigerians to:
1. Pray for peace, stability, and progress.
2. Support initiatives promoting national unity and development.
3. Engage in constructive dialogue and peaceful resolution of conflicts.
He also commended Nigerians’ resilience and determination, saying, “Together, we can build a brighter future.”

“We urge the Federal Government to improve funding of tertiary institutions in the country and upgrade facilities to meet international best practices. We call for concerted efforts to ameliorate the challenges facing vulnerable communities in the country.”
