* Urges remaining 108 qualified agencies to align
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has unveiled the list of 118 successful Private Tour Operators (PTOs) for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
The Hajj body, in a statement issued by the Commission’s Assistant Director, Information and Publication Division, Hajia Fatima Sanda Usara, added that 10 out of the 118 are lead companies in compliance with Saudi Arabia’s directives.
Usara noted that the ten lead companies who went through a rigorous screening process were selected along three zones – namely, Kano (4), FCT Zones (3), and Lagos zones (3).
Muslim News gathered that the remaining 108 licenced private tour operators are expected to align with the 10 lead companies for the successful conduct of Hajj 2025.
The statement read in part, “Sequel to application and thorough screening of Tour Operator Companies that applied for the 2025 Hajj and Umrah Operations, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria is happy to announce the list of successful companies as approved by the Chairman, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman.
“After the screening, 118 Private Tour Operators qualified for the Licence. The 10 lead companies were selected along three zones namely four from Kano zone, three from FCT zone and three from Lagos. The ten lead companies are selected in compliance with Saudi Arabia’s directives.

NAHCON also reminded prospective pilgrims to ensure their safety by adhering to guidelines, including wearing identification, staying hydrated, and following official routes and schedules during the pilgrimage.
Travellers were cautioned against engaging unlicenced operators and were urged to avoid carrying valuables or purchases from unverified vendors.
