Hodan Nalayeh, a prominent journalist, TV personality and founder of IntegrationTV — a Canada-based television platform and her husband, Farid Jama Suleiman were among the 26 people who were murdered in cold blood by a car suicide bomber and gunmen who attacked the Kismayo Hotel in Somalia on Friday.
Another journalist, Mohamed Sahal Omar, a reporter from SBC TV in Kismayo and a presidential candidate in the upcoming regional elections was also killed in the siege. May Allah forgive them their shortcomings and be with the families left behind. May Allah’s peace and tranquillity reign in Somalia and other crises-ridden regions across the world, including Nigeria.
