The Remo Zone of the Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation (ZSF) is set to host its 16th Annual Zakat distribution event on Sunday, June 29, 2025.
According to the organisation, the event will be held at the NUT Hall, located opposite Moye Hotel along Oba Erinwole Road in Sagamu, Ogun State.
The event, scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m., will bring together stakeholders, beneficiaries, and members of the Muslim community in a collective effort to promote social and economic equity through charitable giving.
This year’s gathering will be chaired by Alhaji Nurein Dotun Sokunbi (Ajuse), the Chief Executive Officer of Amber Prime Plastics, and will focus on the theme “Zakat and Societal Development.”
A key highlight of the event will be a lecture titled “Impacting Society through Zakat: The Stories of 25 Years Journey of Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation and Remo Perspectives,” to be delivered by Ustadh Ma’rufdeen Ahmad, the Executive Director of the Waqf Foundation.
