World Hijab Day 2026: Founder Nazma Khan celebrates 14 years of global advocacy for dignity and inclusion

Founder of World Hijab Day, Nazma Khan, has extended warm wishes to participants across the globe as the movement marks its 14th Annual World Hijab Day.

Khan reflected on the journey of the initiative, which began in 2013 as a single call for understanding and has since grown into a worldwide movement observed in many countries.

She thanked supporters for being part of the journey and for standing for dignity, respect, unity, and meaningful dialogue.

World Hijab Day continues to promote awareness, foster inclusion, and strengthen the bond of sisterhood among women of diverse backgrounds, reinforcing the values of unity and mutual respect symbolised by the hijab.
