New Edition Dhul Qoda 1439AH

New Edition Dhul Qoda 1439AH
Have You Heard?
New edition loading… as you can see from the Muslim News cover on my profile picture. Just like the Firdaus Amasa maiden edition, this comes with a difference. As part of our editorial policy, chief of which is to be a mouthpiece for uncelebrated heroes/heroines of Islam, we decided to honour Nigeria’s unsung hero, Imam Abubakar Abdullahi, who risked his life to save 300 Christians during the Jos, Plateau crisis.
How and why did he do it? What motivated him to do it? Why didn’t the Christian bodies celebrate him? And how did Muslim leaders react to his heroic feats? These among others will be the thrust of this edition of Muslim News.
We also look into the activities of this year’s Hajj rite, which is grossly under-reported in the Nigerian media, and answer the question of why despite the reduction in the fee, the number of Nigerian pilgrims is lower in 2018 compared to 2017. We also explore, among other things, how Nigerians at home are preparing for the Eid-al-Adha.
To place your adverts (for halaal products and services only) in the Muslim News print version, which will hit the news-stands across 7 States – including Lagos and Abuja – later this month, email rawshield123@gmail.com or send a message to 08052404597. Our rates are affordable and negotiable. Support this project. It is one of the best ways to keep us going.
We wish both Barrister Firdaus Amasa, our Hijab heroine and Imam Abdullahi Abubakar success in their future endeavours. The Ummah of Muhammad is proud of them. Allah’s greatest reward, which is Al-Jannah Firdaus, is the greatest prayer we wish for them.
