When you hear of a friend’s intending nuptial coming up, smile and breathe then smile again. Beyond the wedding is the marriage and beyond one person are two growing minds.
The institution of marriage is not one person’s assignment. From seeking consent, to planning the ceremony , living together, growing together and building a family, all lie on the shoulders of two people.
Salute everyone who decides to take the bold step to marriage as it is a decision of the strong and not the dim-witted to make matrimony the way and not fornication as a delay. To see yourself fit to take up the challenge of being someone’s counsellor, playmate, confidant, accountant and most personal assistant is such a honouring and mature decision to make. Those still running are preparing.
For every man tying the nuptial since the year began and those who would follow suit, I salute your courage. I pray that you be blessed with wisdom and be favoured with abundance of provision. Wisdom without provision causes misunderstanding while provision without wisdom leads to misappropriation. May you be favoured with both.
