As part of the efforts to broaden the frontiers of Muslim News, the Publisher, Mallam Rasheed Abubakar and some members of his team are currently in Abuja for Muslim News Week.
Muslim News Week is an initiative geared at broadening the reach and creating awareness for Nigeria’s most authoritative Islamic newspaper, Muslim News within the Muslim community.
During their stay in Abuja, the crew will be meeting with the Muslim community, Islamic organisations, Muslim personalities in politics, business, academia and other walks of life.
As part of activities lined up, the crew will be paying a courtesy call on the Murshid of the National Mosque, Abuja and have an interactive session with some Turkish media organisations regarding the recent Global Muslim Personality of the Year Award conferred on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
All these are geared towards widening the scope and reach of the newspaper and we must thank Allah for His grace, and our subscribers and readers, who have kept faith with this dream over the last one year and counting.
The flag off, which started last year in Lagos, is in Abuja because it is the Federal Capital Territory- the seat of power.
Other states would be visited in the due course.
