Some local news portals originally reported the news of Diriliş Ertuğrul smashing a world record. However, nothing can be found on the Guinness World Records website as at the time of filing of this report on Sunday, October 4.
TRT World, the official broadcaster of Diriliş Ertuğrul is yet to write on the news that has been spreading like wildfire on social media.

Check by Muslim News Islamtainment on the verified Twitter handle of Diriliş: Ertuğrul’s Creator, Mehmet Bozdağ didn’t show anything relating to the Guinness World Record story. Rather, the Turkish filmmaker has continued the promotion of the season two of Kurusul Osman, slated for release on Wednesday, November 4.
The movie actors — from Ertuğrul character, Engin Alfan Duzyatan to his wife, Halime Hatun, played by Esra Bilgic, and others who are very active on social media, have kept mum on the news as they continue to bask in the euphoria of their successful outing in the historical series.

Evidently, Diriliş: Ertugrul is a fantastic TV series with views reaching 3 billion worldwide and most-watched on YouTube. The series also gained a massive fanbase of digital streaming platform, Netflix.
This is because Netflix offers all five seasons of Diriliş: Ertuğrul with subtitles.
It is no doubt the most popular TV series in Pakistan and has been translated into several languages and is been watched all over the world by both the young and the old.
