Sevilla legend, Frederick Kanoute has joined Muslim sportsmen to unequivocally condemn what he described as “awful acts of terrorism”, following the Nice knife attacks in France.
In a social media post on Friday, Kanoute, a French-born Muslim with Malian background, also unequivocally condemned the systemic Islamophobia and racism that have taken place in France for way too long.
The latest Islamophobic remarks against French Muslims and by extension, the 2 billion Muslims worldwide was spearheaded by the president, Emmanuel Macron, Muslim News findings revealed.
Kanoute, a Spanish and UEFA cup winner tweeted:
