The Editorial Team of Inside the Haramain has released a statement condemning the ‘stunt played’ by an Indian News Channel which showed inciting graphics, depicting the bombing of Islam’s second holiest place, the Green Dome at Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah.
The channel “Sudarshan News” depicted the despicable animation of rocket fired into the Green Dome while covering the latest round of Israeli killings in Gaza during its show, entitled, ‘Bindas Bol’, meaning, ‘Come support Israel’.
Muslim News findings revealed that the Israeli massacre in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 200 Palestinians, including 50 children over the past one week.
The Green Dome is a historical monument under which are the resting places of Prophet Muhammad (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his Companions the First Two Rightly Guided Caliphs Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him) and Umar ibn Khattab (May Allah be pleased with him).
In lieu of supporting Israel in its shelling over Palestine, Sudarshan News shows the dome of Madina, which houses the grave of Prophet Muhammad(s) with missiles targeting it. The Statement further said that ‘In an attempt to gain ratings, the channel blatantly showed the animation of the symbol of Madinah Al Munawarrah being destroyed.’
Inside the Haramain also said ‘The channel must immediately issue an apology for disrespecting a major Islamic symbol and hurting the sentiments of Muslims worldwide.’
The Haramain Sharifain and Masjid Al Aqsa are the holiest sites of Muslims and any stunt played involving them will not be tolerated by anyone, Inside the Haramain concluded.
The channel’s blatant attempt to depict the attack on the holy city of Madina has angered Muslims, with many calling for legal action against it and its editor.
Chavhanke and his channel have a history of inciting violence against Muslims and spewing misinformation about Islam.

Last year, the supreme court had restrained Sudarshan News from telecasting episodes of the channel’s show that claimed to unveil an alleged conspiracy behind how “Muslims have infiltrated the civil services”.
The court had pointed out that the programme was “insidious” and was telecast with the intent and purpose of vilifying Muslims.
