“Oh Allah, bestow me a child suitable to my lineage and don’t leave my Bala without a child” – Osman Bey
The last and final episode of #KurulusOsman season 2 was released on Wednesday night and fans of the Turkish historic series haven’t stopped talking about their favourite scenes from the 141-minute film, which centres on the story of Osman Bey, the son of Ertugrul Ghazi, who later founded the Ottoman Empire.
There are many interesting and amazing scenes that fans of the series consider their favourites. Some of these scenes gathered by Muslim News Islamtainment are:
▪︎Osman Bey and his Alps’ unpredicted war strategy and breathtaking fighting skills at the battlefield that brought a sad end to Commander Dukas’ arrogance and crumbled Tekfir Nikola’s empire.
▪︎ The capture of Nikola’s spy, Zoe in the Kayi tribe, when she was about to kill Malhun Hatun and the baby in her womb with poison in her food. It pleased many fans that she alongside her witch-doctor was caught by Bala Hatun and Gonca, ultimately meeting their end with the same poison.
▪︎ Still, some people’s favourite scene was when Malhun welcomed Osman Bey’s son, after years of childlessness with Bala Hatun. The feeling was so real and the whole of Kayi was thrown into a frenzy and Interestingly, Orhan was born the same time Osman defeated the Byzantine. It was double celebration.
But for us at #MuslimNews Islamtainment, our favourite scene of the Kurulus Osman was the news of Bala Hatun’s pregnancy, which was confirmed to her at almost the same time Malhun Hatun put to bed. It was the last and climax of the episode. All of us were flabbergasted by the news. Perhaps, a special gift by Mehmet Bozdağ, the producer of the film to reward Bala’s perseverance and steadfastness in the face of challenges.
What we thought was a double joy suddenly turned triple for Osman Bey, who couldn’t hide his excitement as he screamed in a loud voice “Ma shaa Allah” and “Allah Allah” many times, after Bala break the news to him, saying, “I’m pregnant, Osman Bey.”
Guess what Osman did? He did what he hadn’t done to his wife, Bala, since the beginning of the season 1 and 2 (64 episodes all together).
In a dramatic swoosh, he made a soft dash, lifted her off the ground by her left arm and kept waving her like a flag in a circular movement screaming “Balaaaaaaa”.

To every couple looking up to Allah for the fruit of the womb, don’t lose hope, keep on praying, verily, Allah hears your prayers and He will answer them at the right time, just as he granted and gave Bala a happy ending.
“My daughter, you have prayed a lot and shown patience. Now, you should be patient with this test as well. Without doubt, your Rabb is seeing you and hears your cries.” – Sheikh Edebali (Bala’s father, and Osman’s spiritual father)
Meanwhile, Since the end of the season 2, fans are beginning to ask “when will the third season of the series begin airing?”. As at the time of filing this report on Saturday, June 26, there is no information on the release date from the producer, Mehmet Bozdag.
