Lagos agog as TMC Pioneer Amir gives another daughter’s hand in marriage

“And of His Signs is that He has created mates for you from your own kind that you may find peace in them and He has set between you love and mercy.” – Qur’an 30: 21

Saturday, May 28, 2022 will forever be a beautiful day in the lives of Rumaytha Ayoni and Jafar Ayinde as families and friends gathered at Homat Event Center, Igbogbo, Ikorodu, Lagos to witness their Aqdu/Walimatu Nikkah.

The bride is one of the beautiful daughters of Alhaji AbdurRazaq AbdusSalam Awayewaserere, popularly known as Abu Umar Al-Faruq, the first Amir of The Muslim Congress (TMC), who hails from Aran-Orin, Ifepodun local government, Kwara State

Ayoni, a member of G56 (graduating set of Vanguards Academy) and graduate of Agriculture Science from University of Ilorin, is the second daughter and third child of Alhaji AbdusSalam Awayewaserere to be married within the space of seven years after successful nuptials of Safiyyah Ajoke in 2016 and Umar Alani in 2019.

Abu Umar Al-Faruq and the latest bride

The groom is the son of Alhaji AbdulWaheed Abdul Yakeen popularly known as AYA WAHEED, a renowned Islamic content creator and media production manager from Iseyin, Iseyin-Okeogun local government, Oyo State

Jafar, also a member of G33 from the same alma-mater, Vanguards Academy, is the first child of AYA WAHEED to be married, Muslim News findings revealed. The groom, we reliably gathered studied the same Agriculture Science at Osun State University and has begun his PhD programme.

The latest couple

The Nikkah featured series of scintillating programmes including an informative and soul inspiring lecture on building a happy home, which was anchored by respected Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dhikrullah Shafii, the Grand Mufti of the Conference of Islamic Organisations, CIO.

It was followed by solemnization of the two families to become one and this was conducted by another renowned Islamic scholar, Shaykh Bilaal Shiithu.

Solemnization in progress…

“Oh Allah, let this couple (Rumaytha and Jafar) be helpers and protectors of one another, let them be a refuge and comfort to one another, let them be beautiful garments for one another, and let them experience the many treasures and beauties of marriage. Ameen. – Muslim News Nigeria
