Behold my people, today is our weekend Islamtainment and I bring you glad tidings! Season 4 of the much-awaited and most anticipated Turkiye series, Kurulus Osman will start airing on ATV starting next week Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
This particular season will shed more light on the establishment of the Ottoman Empire by the first Sultan, Osman Bey, the son of Ertrugul Gazi and grandson of Sulayman Shah.
The Ottomans which Osman founded in 1299 would later rule the world with the divine laws of Allah for more than 600 years.
In case you don’t know, this interesting series created by Mehmet Bozdag is also being released exactly 100 years after the fall of Islamic caliphate.
According to history, the Ottoman Empire officially ended in 1922 after the end of WW I and the title of Ottoman Sultan was eliminated during the reign of the last Ottoman Sultan, Mehmed VI.
How the mighty and once great Ottoman empire fell is the story for another day but a year later, on October 29, 1923 to be precise, an army officer and revolutionary statesman, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk fought for Turkish independence and later founded the independent Republic of Turkey (now known as Turkiye), which is also going to mark 100 years of existence in 2023 under the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in shaa Allah.
Recall that Kurulus Osman (season 1 to 4) is a sequel to the multiple award-winning Dirilis Ertrugul (season 1 to 5), a Turkiye successful series which entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 2020, as best in the history of global drama. The production of both series has lasted for eight straight years (2014 to 2022).
