OurNigeria Magazine holds 2023 awards ceremony in Abuja
OurNigeria Magazine is set to hold its 2023 awards ceremony in Abuja on Sunday.
The ceremony which will take place at the International Conference Centre (ICC) is expected to be chaired by a former Chief of Army Staff and immediate past Nigerian Ambassador to Benin Republic Dr. Tukur Buratai.
The organisation will be presenting its highest and most prestigious awards to both individuals and organisations in several categories.
Nigerian association AIC organises solidarity lecture for Palestinians
A Nigerian association, Admonition Islamic Centre (AIC), is set to join the list of groups in Africa’s most populous country that have so far organised solidarity movements for the oppressed Palestinians.
On Sunday, in Lagos, AIC will bring together no less than 5 scholars to address different topics on the Palestinian struggle under the theme ‘Dua: The Weapon of the Muslims (Peace, Freedom for Palestine)’.
The event is scheduled to be held at Prof. Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, UNILAG, Akoka. Respected scholars invited include the Chief Missioner of Ansar ud Deen Society, Imam AbdurRahman Ahmad; Founder, Zamzam Islamic Academy, Dr. Munir Salahudeen Ar-Riyady; among others.
MSSN Lagos organises Sisters’ Da’wah Conference in Lagos
The Lagos State Area Unit of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) Sisters’ Circle has concluded arrangements to hold a Sisters’ Da’wah Conference (SDC) on Sunday in Surulere.
Themed ‘The Harmonious Path’, the event will feature a 4-woman panel discussion, with two guest speakers.
The guest speakers are Convener VGC Islamic Community Teen Talkroom & Parent Seminar, Hajia Kudirat Lawal-Adeshina and Amirah FOMWAN Lagos Chapter, Alhaja Sherifat Oluwatoyin Ajagbe. The conference takes place at Iponri Central Mosque, Surulere.
The Muslim Tech Expo debuts in Lagos this Sunday
No fewer than 500 Muslim professionals are expected to attend the maiden edition of The Muslim Tech Expo, on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Zone Tech Hall, Gbagada, Lagos, Nigeria.
The already sold-out event, the first of its kind, is a vibrant platform created for Muslims to connect, collaborate and gain invaluable insights from tech industry leaders who share their faith.
