All roads lead to Dawah Centre as TMC/CGPI hold Election Discourse tomorrow

All roads will tomorrow, Sunday, January 20, 2019 lead to the Daw’ah Centre, Ijeshatedo, Lagos for a sensitisation discourse on election and electioneering ahead of the 2019 general elections.

The much awaited programme, with the theme: “Credible Elections: Foundation for Positive Development” is part of the lecture series of The Muslim Congress (TMC) in conjunction with Centre for Global Peace Initiative (CGPI).

TMC, Nigeria’s leading faith-based organisation at a recently held press conference warned political office holders against do-or-die politics in the forthcoming elections.

Renowned political activist, Dr Olaleye Nurudeen will be speaking on the topic: “The Ballot Box and the Quest for Positive Development” at the gathering, which is expected to accommodate no fewer than 5000 participants.

Slated for 9am, the event will also see Sheikh Ismael Busayri doing justice to the topic: “Attributes of a Good Public Servant” and an INEC official on the topic: “Making the Votes Count: The Role of the Electorate: A Practical Demonstration” .
