Ramadan: Mesut Ozil feeds 4,550 orphans in Turkey, Indonesia, Bangladesh

MESUT OZIL has further extended his generosity during the blessed month of ramadan after donating a princely sum of 120,000 dollars to help Muslims in Indonesia, Bangladesh and Turkey.

Ozil, who plays as an attacking midfielder for Turkish Süper Lig club, Fenerbahçe posted on his Twitter handle on Wednesday that the funds will be used to provide 4,550 food packages for children in orphanages.

It would be recalled that Ozil, who emerged Global Muslim Celebrity Person of the Year 2020, donated £80,000 to help Muslims affected by the coronavirus pandemic during last year’s Ramadan.

At the ongoing Ramadan fast, Ozil has also assisted the poor kids in Idlib, Syria.
