Nigeria at 63: Muslim News Nigeria calls for prayers, unity, hard work

Respected servants of Allah, today, our dear country, Nigeria marks 63 years of independence. Though things aren’t easy, we believe it will get better soon with our fervent prayers, dedication, commitment and hard work.

We call on all of us to use the occasion to pray for our blessed country, Nigeria, to overcome insecurity, economic woes and other problems bedevilling it, and more importantly, to pray for its leaders’ guidance from Allah, the Almighty.

The best of mankind, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was quoted to have supplicated for Madinah, the city where he lived to be the best city in the world in many authentic narrations. As the Prophet did, we should also do the same for our dear country, Nigeria, especially as it clocks 63 years of existence.

Allah made no mistake in creating us and bringing us together in this blessed country called Nigeria, with our varying socio-cultural differences. If He had wished, He would have created us in #SaudiArabia or #Turkiye or in the US, but He has chosen for us Nigeria as our homeland. Happy 63rd #IndependenceDay Nigeria, from all of us at Muslim News, Nigeria’s most authoritative Islamic Newspaper.
