Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday, 14th February received Turkiye Ambassador to Nigeria, HE Amb. Hidayet Bayraktar on a courtesy visit at the Lagos House, Marina.
The Governor posted the pictures of the visit on his verified social media handles with the caption, “We exchanged ideas on various issues, including trade and cultural exchange, and discussed potential partnerships in areas such as tourism and education.”
The Turkiye Ambassador, who was accompanied by the Head of Political Office of the Embassy, Muzaffer Hakan Tok, was presented with an Eyo effigy by the Governor.
Muslim News gathered that Amb. Hidayet Bayraktar had on Thursday, visited the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company Ltd in the Free Trade Zone, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, where he and his team met with the owner and Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
The meeting with Alhaji Dangote was part of the Turkiye envoy’s 5-day visit to Lagos to see the work at the refinery and discuss possible future cooperation with Aliko Dangote.
